The strong academic partnership we hold with Northwood University guarantees the quality of our education delivery. The hospitality management program at Northwood is one of the few accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), which strengthens our positioning as a business school with a hospitality difference.

EFMD is Europe’s largest association in the field of management development, EFMD drives excellence in management development in business, academia, and public service and acts as a catalyst to promote and enhance excellence in management development globally. The EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), is one of the leading international systems of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration.

Hotel Institute Montreux is certified by EduQua, a Swiss quality label that ensures the quality of educational institutions by setting required standards and supporting quality improvements in its certified institutions.

The private education sector in Switzerland fulfills an essential function to the state education system by augmenting its differentiated and innovative range of education.  

The aim of the Association of Swiss Private Schools is two-part: first, to increase the trustworthiness of our member schools through SFPS certification, a market-tested quality assessment system that is recognized nationally and internationally, and second, to make the high status of these educational institutions better known throughout the world. The SFPS is continuously committed to improving the political, economic, and legal framework for private schools in Switzerland. 

Hotel Institute Montreux is a member of THE-ICE, an international accreditation organization dedicated to the recognition, benchmarking, development, and promotion of quality programs in tourism, hospitality, events, and culinary arts education, training, and research. According to THE-ICE Global Premier Ranking in 2023, HIM took 1st place in student satisfaction–particularly notable were the categories: Good contacts for the future, Arrival, Student Advisory Service, and Accomodations.
