Dear Diary,
I am sitting in the front office at the Peninsula Paris and I can’t stop thinking that it is now almost four months that I am living in the city of lights and to be honest it is a life changing experience.

It is my second internship so far. I deliberately chose one of the most famous hotels in Europe, my first one was at the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne in the F&B department and now here I am at the Peninsula Paris.

I must admit that the hotels I’ve chosen are prominent in the industry but at the same time quite challenging. I have had a few testing moments during these two internships, both hotels were very demanding and with high standards; but that is the main reason why I would love to work in the Front Office Department in the future. I become a better person every day.

I guess I am a lover of challenges, and that’s why I decided to go to Switzerland and to HIM for my studies. The Hospitality Industry is a big passion of mine and I was looking for a school that would be able to surpass my expectations. HIM is this school. I am really looking forward to the end of March when I will go back to Switzerland to complete my studies at HIM for my bachelor degree.

I need to go now, a guest is arriving!

Stefano

Stay tuned to find out next week what happens next…
